We finally accumulated enough pallets to do the fence for the broody house yard.  This photo just shows them all in place, waiting to be connected.  I will post a series of photos once it is all done.

You can't beat free fencing!

How will you attach the pallets? How will you anchor them so they won't tumble over if a large dog jumps on them or an eight year climbs them to see what's on the other side? :)

I plan on attaching 2x4s along the top to hold the pallets together. We will put posts at the corners, but as this is a fence for birds I may not anchor the fence; haven't decided yet. The pallets weigh a ton, so I'm not too worried about it moving once I get them all connected at the top and anchored at the corners. If you need it to be stronger, you can either flip the pallets and put t-posts through into the ground, or you can drill through the pallet braces and stake down that way.

Thanks, Tina! Driving T posts through the pallets is a great idea.
