Slim, did you have yours in dirt, or in water?
I know it grows really slow.
I rooted a... stem? And planted it in my <a href="http://me-lindag.blogspot.com/2012/12/492-pounds.html">red neck planter</a>. Last I checked it was doing well.
I should check again since we had near frost...
Linda, I like your blog! If you can update on your celery, that would be great. A lot of people are very inerested in this celery growing experiment.
I'm wondering if what I am doing only results in seed, and that maybe you will only get a real celery bunch if you plant from seed. We'll see.
Celery is very slow growing. Most people who root the end say they don't usually get any stalks more than 3 or 4 inches at most.
They grow them for the leaves for soup and stuff.
I've never planted celery seed.
I looked at it today and it still looks fine.
Have a great week!
