The other day I posted about my experiment, Growing Celery From Scraps. This is update #1, photo from today. It's still growing! Will this actually work?? Stay tuned!

I tried mine it shot up two stalks in about two days got about 4 inches high then died, Was in a south window but maybe too cold at night

Linda, I like your blog! If you can update on your celery, that would be great. A lot of people are very inerested in this celery growing experiment.

Celery is very slow growing. Most people who root the end say they don't usually get any stalks more than 3 or 4 inches at most.
