Larry, Welcome to the Farm!

Lots of things happened today, but I will be talking about our new little friend for now.  We decided that it had been awhile since the last "look-around", so we got in the Mule and drove out into the field, expecting to just take a ride.  Then, as we were driving down the street, we saw a little kitty standing there, looking at us.  So we all hopped out of the Mule and walked over to him, although he seemed kind of skiddish.  So my mom (being the EXTREME cat lover that she is...) sat down and did her cat magic, all the little kitty calls and things like that.  After about 5 minutes he walked over and started being crazy sweet, and so we tried to get him to follow us home while my mom drove the mule back.  I figured he wasn't going to, so I picked him up.  After we got about 200 ft. down the field, he started to get kind of annoyed, so I let him go and set him down, thinking that he would stay there for at least a little bit. He decided to walk all the way to where we started, so I told Caroline to go get Mom, while I followed him and watched where he was going.  After a while my Mom and Caroline came with a crate and a can of wet food, and we caught him.  Once we brought him home we let him get used to the place for awhile and then let him go into the shop.  So, now he is going to spend the night in there.  Here are some pictures (Isn't he pretty?):

He is beautiful. Do you think he understands that he just hit the jackpot?

Hmmm... I hope so! Maybe he will not leave us once we let him outside because he knows that there is food here. :)

If you got a rabbit for Easter, what would you do with it?

    hAVE A GREAT DAY!

This is where Caroline and I (Grace) like to write about things that will be done, have been done, or are being done on the farm.  Enjoy!

    Stories from the kids.

    Sue said:....... Hi Grace,
There is just nothing cuter than a baby rabbit. I'll bet that you and Caroline will be camped out at the cage when the wee bunnies arrive.  So, if
I wanted to purchase a bunny from you, what would I need to know about care and
    feeding?

    following your adventures.

We are from Alabama and my kids love reading your blog!  Marley would like to try your hot chocolate recipe and wanted to let you know that she is a big fan of your farm.  (She loves all animals and Taekwondo!)
Hope you and your family had a great Christmas!!

Sue said:...... Here's hoping for lots of bunnies!  How many do you expect in a litter?

Kay Thomas said:...... Hi Grace, I enjoy reading your blog! I'm sorry you lost all the red-bud trees. The little maples are beautiful. We always have a lot of little trees come up in our yard each year as well.

    We GREATLY appreciate any comments!
